The Mistake that was Tim Tebow

In the Mile High City of Denver, a controversy is brewing. The Denver Broncos have a Quarterback controversy. It's filled with many twist and problems that the organization has to deal with.
First off, the team is under new Management with John Elway, now in the front office. They brought in a new head coach and a new staff. The problem starts with the roster they inherited. The former coach Josh McDaniel tore apart a roster that may have been a player or two from competing with the AFC for championship status. The main piece he traded away, was franchise quarterback Jay Cutler. In effect that caused a trickle down effect. Peyton Hillis and Tony Sheffler where also traded away. These players are now excelling in other places for their respective teams. A few other guys were cut and let go or traded. But another one of those guys were Brandon Marshall.
Marshall, was there during the shooting and killing of then teammate Derrant Williams. Since then, he was not the same with the city. His frustration with the trading of his quarterback coupled with the murder of Williams led him to be traded. The offense was a mess.
Two of the guys brought in from these trades were quarterback, Kyle Orton and Brady Quinn. Then drafted in a year later was, Tim Tebow. Despite the critics saying he was not NFL ready or good enough to play in the NFL. Josh McDaniels made more moves to select him in the first round. As a highly decorated college player and great personality. Tebow became a popular player before even playing.
It did not make sense though. With Orton and Quinn already on the roster. Why bring him in? As a second or third rounder, the pressure of playing him might not be as strong. It was his first round status that created the controversy. After the firing of Josh Mcdaniels. His project QB was left behind on the roster.
So this team has under preformed and has been horrid. In shambles after what Josh McDaniels did his best to destroy that roster. So Tebow is now given his chance. But he does not have the team to support him. So he will continue to look bad. The sad Part is, even though Kyle Orton was not getting the wins as a starter. The numbers were much better as well as the offense with him playing. The Tebow project is also going to have to deal with the Media. The Media is also talking about his playing mechanics. Decision making, and knowledge of the offense. As he is only with a few starts under his belt. The jury is still out. Maybe one day he will be a good quarterback. I feel by that time. The Broncos will no longer want him. The Mile high city is a rich traditional team, with the shadow of a legend in John Elway, in the front office. They want wins and excitement to begin soon. I don't think Tebow can provide that at this time. The problem is. If they don't ride it out with Tebow, are they willing to start all over again. That is a possibility. But the truth is, Tebow is not the problem, but he is not the answer either.
