Our Father
In the begining, when the Trinity was in heaven and the vast open space was the universe of mystery. Our Creator and his son, with the aid of his spirit created the Earth and the heavens. We (man) were made in his image. Given the globe to live in freedom and eternal glory. As you know the story, Adam and Eve were in Paradise. Living with water falls and green grass. Flowers that gave a scent of luxury, and trees that gave the freshest fruits. In the Garden, safe from all the animals and beasts that roamed the earth. That is how it was intended to be. Yet man, in all his glory, finds a way to unravel anything good. The Garden was protected by angels. Protected from what? The beasts that roamed the Earth. Look in the museums, and witness the dinasours. Adam and Eve lived for millions of years in the garden before that fatal desicion, to disobey God. After that they were banished from the Garden and made to be what we are. Providers and workers and bearers of fruit.(children) We have since established history and wrote ancient scribes and scritures to uphold the history we study today. trust me I have heard it a million times, that Man wrote the bible and changed it over the years. But original text and script was inspired by the Holy Spirit. In the book of Revelations it was said that if man changes these words, he adds the plagues in this book to his life. Besides if the Bible, that millions of people read and study was false. Wouldn't by now in the 2009 era. We would have discovered it's false? By the way, funny how I mention 2009. Thats the calander that the entire globe follows. All religions and every creed and race. 2009 after what? We live in a seven day week world wide and universally known and followed. Funny, because that method was created by God in the bible. Isreal and The middle east are at war since...Oh yeah, the beginning of time in Genesis. Wierd we still see them having that war. The purpose of these words is simply to say I believe, and thank...Our Father!

Dumb Athletes

I don't get it! In this day and age where the professional sports athletes are under a very watchful eye. Why do they continue to be so uneducated in the choices they make. Getting arrested for having loaded guns at airports. Bringing drugs and illegal narcotics anywhere. Fighting in strip clubs! Having guns in clubs. Driving drunk. Having affairs and cheating. For whatever reason these athletes think they will not get caught, or don't mind getting caught. I have these words.
You need to look at the news, and I don't mean ESPN. This world has crime and catastrophe happening around the globe. There are financial problems going on. Signs of the Apocalypse are everywhere. People watch sports to get away from the riggers of life. They watch them to be inspired and fill in the negative spots with the joy of watching competition. Your not asked to be roll models, but just as you once did. Kids watch you to be inspired. So they can dream and have something to strive for. The affect that Julious Erving "Dr. J" had on my life was immense. I stayed in shape and ate the right foods and was inspired to be good in school and strive. I watched these great athletes as a kid and loved to compete and try to reach for high goals.
You guys are not providing any positive imprints in sports. I thank all the athletes who never recieve the praise they deserve. For doing the right thing. Those that are charitable and stay grounded. That recognize and remember where they came from. God Bless those who are great fathers as well as husbands. For the rest of you. Take some classes in having class. Look at the children in your community and even in your home. Stop letting them down. As well as your friends and family. Making decisions that make no sense, causing grief to all around you including yourself. It's a privilege to play sports, and it should be done with some honor.
The worst thing Gatorade could of told me was" If I could be like Mike." Parents teach your children they can be better than Mike. God Bless!! b

Lessons 2

Hundreds of star fish were stranded on a beach. A boy started to throw them back into the ocean. A man tells the boy what are you doing. You cant save them all. There are too many. You can't make a difference. The boy picked up another star fish and threw it in. Then he said, I just made a difference to that one! Lesson!!

One day a woman was set to go see her daughter that she hasn't seen since she gave her birth. At the time when she gave birth to her daughter. She was into drugs and not living a suitable life to raise a child. So the courts had her raised by her father. The family moved her away and raised her for 21 years without her knowing her mother. In that time her mother had cleaned up her act and become a devout Christian. Finally at the age of 21 the daughter wanted to meet her mother. She searched for her and found her. They communicated over the phone and planned a day to meet in person. The mother planned the trip and was so happy of this news. She went to church and told everyone. She was filled with pride and joy. The day came to go see her daughter. She got in a taxi taking her to the airport. On the way to the airport, the taxi's front two tires blew out. With there being only one spare, the cab driver could not fix the tires in time. The mother had missed her flight. She went home afterward and was highly upset. She told God, "how could you do this to me?! Now I have to do this all over again! I wanted to see my daughter! I was going to see her today after 21 years of suffering!" As she cried the telephone rang. It was a friend of hers, who told her to turn on the Television and see the news. The plane she was supposed to get on went down in the Atlantic Ocean and there were no survivors. Lesson!

A few words of wisdom

Some people say they can do it. Some people say they can't. They are both right, but which one are you!

when life is hard you separate the contenders from the pretenders.

You can call some people a hurricane. Nobody knows where they came from or why they came your way. But they cause a disaster.

Movement in any direction is progression!

When your spouse asks, "why do you work so much?". You reply, a romance without a finance, is a nuisance.

People argue about things in the bible. Is God Saying this here or does he mean this? Jesus was of this skin color, or argue things that have no value to your salvation. The only thing you really need to know, is you need Jesus, and he loves you!

In life I have learned two things that I cannot argue. Two solid facts to many of my questions. They are: There is a God. 2: I am not him!

It's close to the end!

I don't know if people around are understanding and being alert to all the signs. The signs of the end are all around us. There was a time when the disciples asked Jesus, about his return and the end of the world. In the book of Mathew, chapter 24. He explains this. The wars and rumors of war. This day and age we hear about other countries planning for weapons and nuclear advancement. There is always rumors and the level of security rises. It talks about earthquakes and destruction. In the 2000's we have had major catastrophic destruction. Katrina in the Us. Now we have Tsunamis formed by quakes. An 8.8 in Chile. The Haitian people can tell you about what they are still suffering. The rains and snows are now increasing and showing up in land masses that rarely ever receive it. It snowed last winter in Iraq, and they have snow on extremely rare occasion. The false profits, the plagues and sicknesses. Aids, Swine flu, and all of the new spreads and outbreaks that have happened. Read up and see that all the signs are there. I am not a believer in the destruction of earth in 2012. Besides, the Mayans, did not call it the end. Yet they said events would happen that can be tragic. Not bad for an ancient civilization. Because according to the scriptures. Every 2000 years an event happens that changes and alters human history. No it is not the 2k theory. It is studied and dated that around, without being exact, the 2000 year area, changes occur. Such of large magnitude that history is shaken. Think about it. Just a bit now over 2000 years ago. Jesus, was walking the earth. Now our human calender follows the 2000 AD. Before Christ there were 2000 years of the major prophets and history. Read up people and look for yourself. We are in an era and age where the news events should open your eyes. The crime, the politics. The technology, the life we see. It's funny how a book written over 2000 years ago is telling us about what we would see. Now we watch it unfold and happen.Open your eyes, it's close to the end!

Happiness

Happiness In life we search for happiness. But trust me. If you search for it you usually will not find it. The reason being. If you look in a book. If you look in a song. If you search for happiness in a movie, or in a poem. If you search for happiness in alcohol or drugs. If you feel that the more money you can accumulate the more happier you will be. You are not going to find it. Happiness and total gratification for your life and self, is not in these things. It will bring temporary happiness. If you have a lot of money but are lonely, the money will have no true value. If you have many material objects but no one to share them with, your heart will not find contempt. Songs can inspire as well as a movie or poem. Yet a hard reality moment will flood your heart with a negative vibe hard to shake. You can fool yourself for a while and think that you are happy by finding temporary happiness in an object or thing. Some people even try to find happiness in religion. But even God is a God of love and mercy and wishes us to find happiness. Not just in him, but in life. What good is it to love the lord and to be religious, but all your prayers surround God's ears with asking him to fill your heart with joy. God loves us and wishes us to need him and praise him. As well as be a good servant of his word and love. Yet he wishes for us to accomplish things and fulfill our lives with joy. Relationships as great as some are can be temporary and have it's ups and downs. So as you wonder in life why you cannot find true happiness. It does not come from any thing or any material object. It does not come from drugs or alcohol. It does not come from a relationship. All these things make you feel better in life and with the exceptions of drugs or negative things. All these things are needed in life. Yet true happiness only comes from in you. Belief in yourself. Belief in your ability to make things well. To be in high spirits when things do not look so good. True happiness is from within you. If you don't believe this, then you will also see the reason you never find true happiness is because you doubt even yourself and don't even try. Happiness is within you and only you. Except what you are and love it. What you do not except, change it and focus on making things right. You will eventually see that you and only you, can truly find happiness inside of yourself! True Happiness

Life

Life is a wonderful and mysterious thing. The surprises that you receive in life. The twists and turns of everyday living. You loose things at times that you once have valued so much. Then find out how much a blessing it was to have let it go. We watch our lives and measure our lives on what we made financially, but seldom think of the great blessings we have received. The times we were sick and then healed. The times we needed a spiritual lift and had a friend or someone that you don't even know inspire you. It's always good to work and earn a great check. But more important is the value of what that check will do for you. To buy you things that comfort you. To obtain memories that will last your lifetime. To me that is what is important. To be blessed at times it's as simple as seeing the simple things. The rain bless the grass and trees. The air that you breathe. Your health, and your ability to be free. Cherish life and accomplish all that you can. Chase the dreams that will give you happiness. Keep your loved ones in your prayers so the Angels can bless you too as you pray for others. Laughter, joke and live loving yourself and those around you. Be blessed and enjoy life! Be great at what you do and greater things will unfold and happen to you! Life, can be horrific, but only if you allow it to be. Your minds power can have you escape the dark prison of harsh reality. If you think BIG and positive thoughts. Be good, be great, and enjoy LIFE!
